charioteer necklace
Jul. 10th, 2010 11:33 pmLast weekend, I finished reading The Charioteer by Mary Renault, and loved every second of it go read it now if you haven't i mean seriously it is fantastic.
toujours_nigel , thank you so much for finally making me get off my lazy behind and read it.
Anyway, I went to the farmer's market that same weekend, and there is a craftsman there who sells cut coins as pendants. I have a few other pieces that I've bought from him, and I love them.
I had some spending money and thought I'd get something pretty in honor of the book...
( He told me first it was from Egypt, then Macedonia, but I'm thinking it's actually Russian. )
